Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has yet again hit back at Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho accusing him of unfairly targeting people supporting Deputy President William Ruto.
On Monday, Kibicho dismissed DP William Ruto’s assassination plot as ‘imaginanions’, adding that those who came up with the claims acted out of ignorance.
“We are credited with intelligence and brains, better than what we are hearing. It’s unfortunate we are occupied by media talking about imaginations,” Kibicho said.
He added, “On leaders talking about assassination claim, who has complained? I am yet to hear someone complain. We should stop creating things that don’t exist. The moment we have a formal claim we deal with it in accordance with the law. We will not as a ministry be stopped from doing our work.”
But at Milimani Law Courts on Wednesday, a charged Sudi accused Kibicho of witch-hunt, adding that he is unfit to hold any public office. He said that Tanga Tanga team is ready to handle him.
“I want to tell the La Mada Chairman who said that he has brains that we are not scared of him. He cannot intimidate us. In fact, he does not have brains and he’s unsuitable to hold any public office,” said Sudi.
The latest remarks by Sudi could further create tension between the Interior PS and DP William Ruto, with initial reports between the two indicating that they had an altercation at JKIA in May.
Dr Ruto’s team accuse Kibicho and Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i of allegedly inciting provincial administration against them during trips across the country.
