LAWRENCE NYAKUNDI, one of EGESA FM famous presenters was yesterday stripped naked by members of the Kisii community on social media for allegedly faking callers to discredit and slur the recent coronation of Dagoretti North MP hon Simba Arati on his show.
Social media went frenzy on Kisii and Nyamira groups on Facebook with members accusing Nyakundi of sabotaging their spokesman hon Simba Arati who was coronated on Sunday by Kisii elders.
They called for the boycott of the Royal Media owned FM Radio.
Members questioned how every caller whose phone went through was anti-Arati. They questioned the manner in which only anti Arati callers were able to go through.
They also questioned Nyakundi’s motive and how he buttressed his caller’s anti-Arati coronation sentiments.
They accused the presenter of receiving a bribe from politicians who are unhappy or oposed to the coronation of Arati.
They vowed to resist listening to Egesa FM going forward claiming they cant take any slur against Arati by the station’s presenters whom they said have the habit of soliciting money from politicians in exchange of talk-shows and interviews.
