The latest opinion poll allegedly sponsored by some Statehouse operatives indicate President Uhuru can beat CORD Leader Raila Odinga BUT would not get the constitutional threshold of 50 per cent plus one vote if elections were held today.
The Poll ranks DP William Ruto distant 5th behind HonPeter Kenneth (Mt Kenya mafia’s preferred heir to Uhuru presidency) and Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
It is obvious Statehouse operatives are setting up William Ruto as UN-ELECTABLE, if the poll results are true then it confirms fears of many of DP supporters that he is set to carry all the evils currently happening under the watch and supervision of Uhuru (Corruption, tribalism, EUROBOND, NYS, Sex toys, Youth Fund etc)
The latest Infotrak poll shows Uhuru would get slightly over 40% of the votes compared to about 30% for Cord leader Raila Odinga.
Wiper leader Kalonzo came a distant third with only 2.5 percent saying they would vote for him. Peter Kenneth came fourth with 2.2 percent, William Ruto 1.2 percent, Moses Wetang’ula 1.1 per cent, Martha Karua 0.7 per cent and Musalia Mudavadi 0.5 per cent.
The survey shows that those who said they don’t know who they would vote for stands at 12.1 per cent and those who would not vote at 2.8 per cent.
The poll also shows that while Uhuru draws almost equal support from both men (45 per cent) and women (44 per cent), Raila draws more support from male voters (31 per cent) than female voters (24 per cent).
Both Uhuru and Raila have more than 30% among the youth
Uhuru would beat Raila in Central, Rift Valley and Eastern While Raila will win with landslide in Nyanza, Western and Coast. The two will tie in Nairobi and North Eastern regions.
The Jubilee Alliance Party which Uhuru will be seeking re-election in 2017, is now rated equally as popular as ODM according to the poll while TNA is came distant third at 7.6%
The poll was conducted between March 20 and March 22 and involved 1,800 respondents
