You have never called for the arrest and prosecution of those who chopped off the heads of innocent Kenyans during the 2007/2008 post election violence.
You did not raise your voice against those who lit the matchstick that burnt alive wailing grandmothers and their grandchildren who took refuge in that Kiambaa Church that fateful December evening. There is a group which belonged to the wrong tribe who were hacked to death in Naivasha and roasted like peanuts. You saw no wrong in that, too, and kept a safe distance from those asking for truth, justice and reconciliation.
You are comfortably sipping lemon tea in your middle class servant quarter Keeping Up With The Kardashians and livestreaming Nemanja Matic’s unveiling at Old Trafford. You think accumulating too many English Premier League viewer miles will earn you a British citizenship and cure your troubles for good. You live with the delusion that Kanye West will save you when trouble knocks on your door and carry you with his Gikomba rugged wear to Canaan without a sweat. Keep lecturing us on middle class decorum.
