Doubts have now emerged on the possibility of Interior CS Fred Matiang’i appearing before the High Court in a case where he was summoned to personally explain why lawyer Miguna Miguna has been held at JKIA.
A spot check by by local media revealed that Matiang’i is currently at the GSU headquarters in Embakasi and is attending a passing out ceremony alongside President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Statehpuse bloggers have already hinted the CS’ absence after they poured cold water on the order issued by Justice George Odunga.
State House Director of Digital Communications Dennis Itumbi published two tweets that appeared to trash Odunga’s order.

And in another he briefly wrote the latin words “Brutum Fulmen…..” which is used in legal parlance to describe an ineffective thunder, it literally means an empty thunder.
