So finally Kikuyu Council of Elders have seen the light and gotten some sense.
Led by their chairman Wachira Kiago, the council has warned Uhuru to be careful about his deputy William Ruto. They believe Ruto has outlived his usefulness and Uhuru should stop campaigning together with Ruto as it might cost him heavy political loses.
The leaders who spoke to the standard on Sunday believe that the DP is building a polarizing image which may work against Jubilee in neutral grounds like Western and Coast. The KCE wants Uhuru to hunt for votes alone and not with Ruto.
