Nairobi ODM youth leader Stephen Mukabane has been shot dead in his Mihang’o home, Embakasi East. According to sources, Mukabane was trailed by a gang who shot him repeatedly in his gate as he entered.
In his condolences, Nairobi Governor James Kidero termed the murder an act of lawlessness, cowardice and hooliganism which must not go unpunished.
Until his death, Mukabane had expressed his interest in Embakasi East cnstituency and was expected to win. Others in the race to capture the same seatinclude controversial SONU student leader Babu Owino.
