Chaos at Lang’ata DCs office over alleged voter importation.
Lang’ata residents have early this afternoon invaded the Lang’ata DC office which is adjacent to Wilson airport after reports emerged that the DC and chiefs are being used by Jubilee to transfer voters into the constituency at the behest of DP William Ruto lackey one Nixon Korir who is a perennial unsuccessful candidate in the parliamentary seat elections.
The rowdy crowd demanded the IEBC sub-county coordinaator to come clean on the allegations saying that the imported voters are mostly from Rift Valley and are allegedly being registered at the rate of approximately 300 voters per day.
Armed administration police scrambled to secure the premises as the crowd demonstrated threatening to flush out the imported voters.
Lang’ata Constituency is one of the most sought after constituencies in Nairobi with at least a dozen candidates having submitted documents seeking the ODM ticket. However, Ahmed “Papa” Ibrahim, a close confidant of ODM leader remains the front runner and it is suspected Jubilee have hatched a scheme to import rural voters after realizing that it is an ODM zone.
