Excitement as ODM Bungoma County Endorses Wakili Sifuna
Edwin Sifuna who is the ODM aspiring Member of Parliament for Kanduyi in Bungoma County this weekend received endorsement and community blessings from local elders.
Sifuna received the endorsement at Bungoma Sports Club, Matumbufu, where led by the Speaker of the Bungoma County Assembly John Makali and in a culturally significant gesture, he was handed a woolen cap, a spear and shield to signify protection to their son as he ventures into national politics.
The endorsement effectively makes Sifuna the leading ODM pointman in the region against Jubilee Party.
The ODM Secretary in Bungoma County who is also the MCA of Khalaba ward Hon. Majimbo Okumu was present and vowed to work together with all ODM aspirants in Bungoma so that the party maintains it’s leading position in the county.
Speaking at the event, Sifuna thanked the leaders and said he would make great efforts to campaign for himself and his party leader Hon Raila Odinga in Kanduyi and the larger Bungoma County.
