I have said it on this platform in the past and I will say it again.
The politics of Independent candidates Vs those who counted their votes in the bushes doesn’t help advance the agenda of Raila Odinga’s presidency.
Anyone advising Mr. Odinga to take sides in that politics is against his Presidency. Whether it’s Ranguma or Nyong’o; It’s Awiti or Wakiaga, or Magwang’a; it’s Obado or Ayako, I am yet to be informed how they will affect Odinga’s policies. On the contrary, I believe that the policy will be coming from President Odinga.
Raila Odinga is not running for majority leader in parliament, he is Running for the president of the Republic of Kenya, a contest he is currently leading against the incumbent.
At a time when we ought to have a clear message about our agenda for Kenyans, some people, who acquired party tickets through questionable routes are busy thinking of how to make it to parliament or governorship, than thinking of how Raila can become president.
I am opposed to Six piece voting and will actively campaign against it. If you “won” the party ticket because you are popular, why worry.
NASA is a coalition of political parties.
I would rather use my time on this platform to campaign for Mr. Odinga and NASA that mopping Mr. Odinga’s statements.
I hope that as we go towards the critical phase of this campaigns, we won’t shoot our selves in the leg, but focus our artilleries towards our enemy.
We aren’t fighting against Jo Independent, but against the failed Jubilee regime.
