Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko Mbuvi attacked Governor Evans Kidero over corruption perpetuated by City Hall cartels on the poor in the city.
Trouble started when Nairobi County deputy governor Hon Jonathan Mueke dismissed those who have declared their interest to unseat Kidero as people with no track record to steer and govern Nairobi. Mueke urged the Kamba community that to back Kidero/Mueke ticket.
Senator Sonko dismissed Kidero/Mueke administration saying it was being propelled by corrupt cartels, he said Kidero is a ‘thief’ and challenged the governor to sue him. Sonko said he had strong evidence linking Kidero to malpractice in City Hall.
