Chief ODM blogger and Raila’s right hand man Anwar Saddat has endorsed the election of Activist Boniface Mwangi for Starehe Member of Parliament.
Saddat’s endorsement comes at a time when ODM candidate Steve Mbogo visited Statehouse three times this week, raising questions on hia allegiance to his Presidential aspirant Raila Odinga.
Here is what Saddat said on his Facebook wall:
“From my days as a student leader, Starehe Constituency has remained dear to my heart. In this election cycle, I seriously considered presenting myself to seek the opportunity to represent the residents of Starehe constituency in Parliament. For personal reasons, I decided to put on hold that desire.
After careful consideration and evaluating those who seek to be MP for Starehe, being conversant with the problems of the residents of Starehe, it is my considered opinion that Boniface Mwangi is the best choice for Starehe MP in this election cycle.
I therefore appeal to my friends and comrades who have walked with me to Vote for Boniface Mwangi as MP for Starehe on 8/8/17″
