How can a parastatal with 10 board member have 8 from a Gikuyu community and 2 from Kalenjin community yet Kenya comprises of 42 tribes? The same parastatal, National Oil Corporation of Kenya NOCK, falls under Energy Ministry where the Minister, Mr. Keter is a Kalenjin and the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Njoroge is a Kikuyu.
HERE are the Board Members of NOCK
1) Daniel wamahiu, 2)Andrew kamau 3)Kamau thugge, 4)Stanley kamau 5)Timothy muraya 6) Margaret kinuthia 7) Dr joseph rotumoi
8) Mr Bernard kitur rono 9) Samwel Gakunga 10) Timothy macharia 11) Peter Ngala
Other parastatals CEOs in the Energy docket are either from only the two communities.
Are there no other Kenyans from other tribes that are qualified to sit in these boards or be appointed as CEOs?
Isn’t the appointment against our Constitution?
How does Uhuru expect our country to be united with this corruption in public appointments? This doesn’t create harmony at all.
Fidelity to the constitution and to the rule of law is the highest achievement anybody can ever get in his lifetime. Uhuru has failed our constitution.
