Mbugua Kaba has in the past worked for the Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC), RPP & PAT among other organizations.
In his early years of activism Kaba was arrested countless times with other activists while rising against issues affecting the common man. Kaba moved to the United States in 2010 and from there he has kept in touch with activists back home.
Kaba is also a professional journalist having graduated from Andrew Crawford Media School in 2005.
He has produced several documentaries among them;

Kaba continues to fight for justice in North Carolina where he is a member of the local NAACP chapter, Amnesty International and member of the Moral Monday Movement.
