POLICE DETAIN TWO OPPOSITION LEGISLATORS UNDER ILLEGAL HOUSE ARREST
Two CORD leaders Sen Johston Muthama and Hon Timothy Bosire have been under house arrest since 11 PM yesterday for alleged hate speech. Two others fear arrest for the same accusations.
Until now, none of the leaders under arrest or those being sought have been served with summons to appear before police.
Following this move by the State, CORD leaders will meet at the Capitol Hill Square at 9 am this morning from where they will address the press then proceed to the homes of the two leaders currently marooned by police. CORD lawyers and MPs will also escort those being sought to record statements with the police.
