Hannah Mureithi has been appointed as the new Board chairperson of the National Hospital Insurance Fund.
Health CS Sicily Kariuki announced the changes on Wednesday also stating that Mudzo Nzili would serve as vice chairman.
Nzili is the former chairman of the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT).
The appointment of the Board chair follows the resignation of Mohamud Mohamed Ali who is now serving as Marsabit County Governor.
The two appointees will serve at the helm of the national insurer alongside nine other members.
