IEBC has confirmed that the commission’a ICT manager Mr Chris Msando is missing that police are now involved in the search.
Mr Msando role is critical is this year’s general election. Colleagues describe him as a no nonsense proffessional who cannot be compromised. He is the only senior staff who understands IEBC’s electoral system that the agents of status quo have been trying hard to hack it.
In a tweet IEBC says they have joined hands with police in the search for Msando who is suspected to have been kidnapped.
A top NASA official has expressed concerns why Msando was never provided with state security.
Mr Msando hails from Nyanza/Western region.
