”Don’t UNDERESTIMATE Raila and Kenyans, He can DEFEAT You in 2017, Money is Not Everything”- Hon Kuria WARNS Uhuru

Date:

Outspoken Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has warned President Uhuru Kenyatta to avoid underestimating Cord leader Raila Odinga ahead of the 2017 elections saying he (Raila) can pull a surprise and win the presidency.

Kuria was commenting on the countless number of times the former Prime Minister has been underrated before only to emerge victorious. The 2005 referenderum and 2007 general elections are key pointers, 2013 was a miracle Kuria added.

“The elections can be won by two people – Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga. It is a close race that is yet to be won. We must be careful when dealing with Raila and prepare adequately,” Kuria said in Nairobi.

Kuria challenged the members in the ruling coalition to give their all to market the yet to be launched Jubilee Party to ensure that they gift the president his second term in office come 2017.

“The opposition leaders are also campaigning and are going to form coalitions. There is need to ensure that we are ready for the polls because it will not be straightforward,” he added.

He added that an expensive campaign and PR alone will not win the presidency and therefore Jubilee operatives should humble themselves and explain to Kenyans why Uhuru needs five more years.
