ODM Secretary-General AbabuNamwamba has insisted that Ford Kenya party does not scare him an inch. Namwamba’s remarks follow revelations that the Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula-led party would field a candidate against him in the 2017 general election.
The Budalang’i MP said if Ford-Kenya wants to compete with ODM to “bring it on and we will show them dust.”
Speaking live at Citizen TV’s Cheche show Ababu insisted that Ford Kenya needs to direct their guns to opponent parties and not coalition partners . Unity is all we want in CORD , And ODM and Ford Kenya are not enemies et should come together and dislodge the enemy out if western completely-Namwamba said.
He reiterated that if Ford Kenya fields a candidate in Budalangi he will trounce them as has did in the last two elections .
“I trounced them twice, I will do it again if they field a candidate against me” -Namwamba said. He pledged to do everything humanly possible to ensure Raila clinches the CORD flag bearer and Presidency in the coming general election.
