There is nothing as unscrupulous as the ipsos surveys. I have participated in several of them; as a research assistant, field supervisor and a respondent as well. This is the only research firm whose surveys are managed by crooks. On this particular one, the survey itself is called SPEC (social Political & Economic Survey) because it touches on several aspects. The research assistants are being trained by Wolf himself.
When these guys get to the field, They will interview anyone they find, whether sane or insane in order to meet the tight deadline that they are normally given. Administering one questionnaire takes approximately 2hrs. They are required to complete atleast 5 questionnaires per day. Because of the meager pay they get, these researchers don’t care about the credibility of the data they collect.
Some of them even interview themselves. (They are payed Ksh 110 per questionnaire. Tax inclusive) When the poorly collected data get to the analysis stage, Wolf himself skews the data to suit his own interest.
