There is no “swing area” or “undecided voter” in kenya. People have made up their mind on how they will cast their presidential votes.
There are things lies can do, but what I know it can’t do is convince a Kenyan who struggled for five years to fend for their families; struggled to raise school fees for their children; suffered looking for a job for the last five years despite their academic qualifications, to vote for Jubilee simply because of propaganda.
And in his farewell tours, the President keeps reminding those Kenyans that never voted for him, that they never voted for Jubilee, confirming our suspicions that under Jubilee, government resources is distributed according to how Kenyans voted.
If Jubilee thinks those who genuinely show up at their rallies (we know they ferry most of them and leave them stranded without transport back home) will translate to votes on 8/8/17, they will be shocked. Some of those people only come to see a sitting president and his deputy before they are voted out.
Kenyans are not fools to see you brag of how you eat meat as they suffer, see your sister and relatives steal from public coffers as they struggle, for them to vote you again to continue looting.
Hell No.
We there are some Kenyans who feel the burden of Jubilee, but are held strong by tribal bond. And so, they will vote for Jubilee though they have publicly admitted that Jubilee has failed. We understand their decision.
But on 8/8/17 Jubilee will fall. The chains of mediocrity will be broken and a new dawn of a united country, lead by Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka will rise, prepared from day one to tackle the problems of unemployment, higher cost of living, police housing, higher costs of education and transform our nation.
Good bye to Tribulation and lamentation disguised as Jubilation.
