Kidero ‘HIRES’ POLLSTERS ahead of 2017 Nairobi Gubernatorial Race

Date:

Nairobi Governor Dr. Evans Kodero has now enlisted the service of pollsters to salvage his disastrous and turbulent tenure at City Hall ahead of the 2017 general elections.

A recent opinion poll by TIFA research on the Nairobi’s Gubernatorial Candidates Preference was allegedily cooked to rank Kidero at par with Senator Mike Sonko a front runner in the 2017 race to City Hall.

According to the poll released last month under the influence of Kidero, the race will be a tight contest between the incumbent Kidero and Senator Sonko with each having 28% support respectively.

Just after that poll another poll by Mzalendo Kenya was released on lazy MP’s in the 11th Parliament.

The report controversially portrayed Sonko as the top laziest Senator with no contributions on the floor of the Senate contrary to Hansard reports which have confirmed that Sonko participated heavily in debates and in the senate as well as in Senate committee sessions.

Just yesterday the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission told a Nairobi Court that Kidero’s bank accounts had large cash deposits suspected to be proceeds of corruption.

Kidero is facing a legal tussle after a journalist declared an affidavit of how he bribed Supreme court Judge Philip Tunoi with Sh 200 million to rule in his favour in the election petition filed by his former competitor, Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu.
