The Curse of working at Kiss FM, List of Journalists who are single and old; Ms Mutoko, Maina Kageni, Sheila Mwanyiga leads the flock

Well, well, well, the hottest debate yesterday was whether working for Kiss FM is a curse or a blessing, what with the the many old presenters still struggling to get proper lovers or lifelong partners? All past top present and past KISS FM presenters are misserable lot, they are single at menopause age of plus 42 ! Picture this; Caroline Mutoko, Maina Kageni, Sheilah Mwanyiga, Ciku Muiruri, Kalekye Mumo are all single almost two decades since they hit Kiss FM airwaves !

Maina Kageni has probably heard this a thousand times, that it was time he settled down.

Many at times, his co-host King’ang’i has also rubbed it on his face.

There is no perfect time to be in a relationship or get married.

However, the only time that you can deem as perfect in being in a relationship or getting married is when you find the perfect partner for you.

Otherwise, it’s only an illusion, a fiction born out of pressure and imitating what everyone thinks or how they feel.

Sheila Mwanyigah
Some years back, Sheila was known as a voice that was golden and could easily sing her companion to her life. Even though she has been bathed in male attention, she has not been able to pick one she can say ‘I do’ to. Could it be as a result of a heartbreak?

Mike Mondo
For the most part of Radio, Mike does his evening show with Terry Muikamba on Classic 105 and once in a while, he steps in for Maina Kageni in the morning show. Even though he is known for remaining anonymous about his personal life, Mike is a single dad. Ladies have caled in countless times saying how they are in love with his voice.

Maina is no news to us, for the years he has worked on radio, he has dished out good advice for couples and still cannot prove if it worked for him. We are all aware that ladies love Maina, and most probably he is more alluring to them because he is single.

Munene Nyagah
Rumours for a while has been running wild that Munene has a Mrs Right who made up him to hide from the world. Living in the leafy suburbs of Nairobi, he prefers anonymity and there’s no proof he has walked down the aisle. In 2015 he was blessed with a bouncing baby girl

Caroline Mutoko
Carol is a powerful woman, we all agree she has achieved o much as a woman and most of us can’t help but wonder how her love life would be like. She has in the past declared resistance to marriage ever since joining radio.

Eve D’Souza
Depicted as a stubborn wife in ‘Auntie Boss‘ TV show, Eve has never openly talked about her marriage. The beauty has in a past interview declared she is ready for marriage and has been waiting for Mr. Right.

Kalekye Mumo
She is the mamasta of Radio and for long worked at Capital FM. Now she is doing her thing on Facebook and Instagram; Kalekye Uncut ! She has been single for the longest time ever !

Ciku Muiruri/Shikoh;
Ciku was the queen at Easy FM then moved to Kiss FM and now I don’t know where. Remember her involvement with the Artur brothers? she is a sister to Tony Gachoka, kids a former Kiambu millionare but rumour has it that Tony mismanaged everything and now they are just ok ofcoz with the help of hanging around Uhuru Kenyatta
