NASA Principal Wetangula ‘Slaps’ CS Matiangi Over Ban of Anti- IEBC Demonstrations

Senator Moses Wetangula’s SMS to CS Matiangi after he banned demonstrations in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu CBDs:

Senator Wetangula texted: “Mr. Matiangi, why don’t you engage a lawyer to advise you on the constitutionality of your actions and utterances and threats to innocent Kenyans. You have no powers or capacity to ban the lawful protests and or demonstrations.”

CS Matiangi replied: “Nonsense!”

Senator Wetangula replied back: “You know what? That is exactly what you are! Arrogant, distasteful and unfit to hold public office. And indeed that is what he is.”
