The youthful Larry did not immediately disclose his reasons for resgination although many had seen it coming since last year. The popular anchor’s column on Nation Newspaper was barred by the management in what was cited as being anti-government.
Larry together with another anchor Ken Mijungu and the then NTV Managing Editor Linus Kaikai got into trouble on January 30th after they were singled out as those that were responsible for covering Raila Odinga’s swearing In ceremony as the peoples president.
Linus Kaikai resigned and is said to join Royam Media services’s Citizen TV soon together with KTN’s Joe Ageyo. .
lately, Larry has been a darling of international media houses seeking to get opinions on Kenyan matters. He has since featured for BBC News, CNN, Al Jazeera and Washington Post
