Yet another opinion poll shows Nairobi Senator would emerge victorious in the race for Nairobi Governors seat in 2017.
The report by Centre for African Progress shows that Sonko would beat the incumbent Governor Evans Kidero. According to the opinion poll, Sonko would get 36 percent of the votes and Kidero 25 percent in the race for City Hall. Dagoreti South MP Dennis Waweru comes third with 15 percent while Water CS Eugene Wamalwa is 4th with 7 percent.
In the Jubilee nominations for the Nairobi Governor’s seat, Sonko also emerges first with Waweru Dennis41 percent followed by Waweru with 24 percent and Wamalwa third with 12 percent. Bishop Margaret Wanjiru comes 4th and TNA Chairman Johnston Sakaja 5th with 7 percent and 6 percent respectively.
