I have no issues if someone wants to celebrate the death and resurrection of our LORD Jesus Christ. What I find strange is the effortless pagan infiltration and its unquestionably acceptance and practice by “Christians”!
The idea of eggs in Easter for example and “Christians” who hit the shops for them. It’s the church that should convert the world and not the other way round. You can talk about Easter, and the death and resurrection of JESUS CHRIST our LORD but the two occasions are not related, let alone the eggs etc…
Study The Scriptures for yourself and WORSHIP in Spirit and in Truth. It doesn’t matter how honest and faithful, and dedicated you are, if you are ignoring the truth in The Bible on your shelf, and are following the multitude blindly….
The changes are not even subtle. But the history has been erased and “prominent” churches have conspired to enhance error. Fortunately we aren’t in the dark ages anymore. The Luthers and Tyndales fought hard to ensure EVERYONE has a copy of the The Holy Bible.
From 31AD, to the early 300s AD, The Church remained faithful to the principles laid down- and this period is described as ‘desirable’ and ‘sweet smelling’ until Constantine forged the Union of CHURCH and STATE – introducing many pagan traditions into the faith. The compromises have long been forgotten by pagans themselves and taken over by Christians. For real! It’s the climax of the glorification of Satan.
We are now far removed from the ages of Compromise (roughly AD 300-500), of The Dark Ages 500-1500), The GREAT Reformation and Revival (1500-1800s) to our time- The senseless Age of great INFORMATION and COMPLACENCY (1800s – to our time being the apex where anything goes!).
If you want to be a Christian, the pattern is after the example and teachings of JESUS CHRIST. No it’s not about your heart, your choices, and GOD loving everyone irrespective- and how you want blah blah blah, but according to The WORD of GOD!
You see, Saul had good intentions to want to sacrifice to GOD, but GOD delights in obedience to HIS clear instructions and not all the good you do outside of HIS clearly stated will.
You can celebrate the death and resurrection of JESUS however you want with whatever- but JESUS, like in Christmas, is absent.
Don’t waste your time and money. Study The Scriptures for in them is eternal life! Hold fast that which is right. Be ready to give an answer for your faith and Whatever things are of good report, pay attention!
Have a beautiful Sabbath!
