Kass Media group is facing a crisis following the exodus of top Journalists who sorces reveal were forced out due their fair reporting in the Nyangores and Kericho by elections.
The Kalenjin media group is said to be intimidating and frustrating Journalists reporting stories against Jubilee Government. So far four journalists have resigned Namely Evans Yegon (Bomet based), Kimutai Ruto AkA Propesa (Nakuru), Joyline Chepkemboi and Joyle Tuei .The four had been transferred to far flank areas before tendering resignation letters.
Through orders from above (DP Ruto office), Kass FM reporter Slyvester Rono (DP Ruto’s Radio apostle) was sent to Bomet county to tame Governor Isaac Ruto through negative coverage and kill the Maendeleo Mashanani Party. Rono was heard telling his colleagues that he was pro-Jubilee and was on a mission to radicalize the South Rift turning residents to DP Ruto addicts and offer Jubilee extreme branding and also tainting County Government.
True to his mission Slyvester Rono has reported non -existence (cooked negative stories). A source reveals that most Bomet County residents have realised the scheme and the degenarating of quality news and are now switching stations to alternative vernacular stations like Chamge FM and Kongasis FM.
