UNACCEPTABLE VIOLENCE AT TURKANA KALOKOL WARD BY ELECTIONS
Kenyans have received the shocking news of last night’s incidents where goons stormed the ODM command centre and fired several gunshots in the air before heading to the home of Josephat Ekeno, the party’s candidate and shot two of his children causing them serious injuries. These are not only acts of intolerance but also a threat to the lives of citizens.
That this happened under the Jubilee regime that constantly reassures Kenyans of their security yet such intimidation and use of force continues unabated.
One child, an eight year old daughter of the ODM candidate is currently undergoing a delicate operation at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret where a bullet is lodged a few centimetres to the heart.
The party has also noted that there are reported cases of voter bribery and buying being perpetuated by Jubilee legislators .The party has taken note of this and demands appropriate action.
