In the wake of poltical humiliations facing Deputy President William Ruto, Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi has hinted at the DP’s camp launching a comprehensive facilitate the DP’s 2022 presidential bid. Sudi, a close ally of the deputy president, said those thinking Tanga Tanga camp has been cornered and left with no option will be surprised when the right time to unleash 2022 full arsenal comes.
Speaking in Uasin Gishu county on Friday, January 17, the vocal politician said no one will scuttle Ruto’s presidential ambitions, he said they were keenly monitoring the moves of some Mt Kenya mafia and top Statehouse operatives especially the attempts at frustrating Ruto in executing his mandate as the deputy president.
“We have our plans and let no one think we are sleeping. I want to tell those brokers who think they are going to define our destine that we are alert and we believe the same God who helped us win 2013 race will stand with us in 2022,” said Sudi.
Despite concealing some crucial details, the pro Ruto camp seems set for an all out war to face the UhuruRailaAtwoli coalition. It has also been revealed that DP Ruto has sponsored registration and revival of various regional political parties/outfits that he will use to rally support in the 2022 race.
Hon Sudi is DP Ruto’s mouth piece and is tasked with responding to high level political forces, in the past he has hit out on Ruto’s adversaries (both real and imagined) that include Raila Odinga, Uhuru Kenyatta, Gideon Moi, Ali Hassan Joho and the Kalenjin rebel MPs; Hon Kuttuny and Hon Alfred Keter.
