He is not only a well-lettered authority polymath, an accomplished egghead, but also, a rare-to-find renowned political COGNOSCENTI whose extra-ordinary prowess in leadership seldom goes unnoticed. They say “A watched pot never boils” comrades are equally tired of waiting for their new Sports Secretary.
His name is Geoffrey Mosiria aka ‘The Dollar Boy’, a well known and established young millionaire. Though no one knows about his precise sources of income, he’s a renowned businessman with booming businesses in Nairobi, Nyamira & Kiambu counties.
Mosiria is also known for his benevolent, philanthropic & eleemosynary heart for been repeatedly engaging himself in charity work through his foundation ( GefMosi Foundation ) that sponsors football, volleyball & rugby clubs in several constituencies.
The young political honcho has strategies and pertinent mechanisms to take Gusii politics to a step higher. He is working to unite all Gusii politicians and all influential leaders from the land to form a one strong political outfit that shall see Kisii vote bloc become stronger.
Mosiria is now taking his second degree at the Great University of Nairobi, having completed his first degree barely a year ago.
Also important to note, for his love for sports, after thorough consultations with the university of Nairobi comrades, opinion makers, generals, Nick Mwendwa – current FKF president among other wise men, he ended up with the decision to contest for the sports secretary in the forthcoming SONU elections.
Among his key things to work on as the Sports Sec are: –
- Establiment of the skating rink across all campuses,
- Relaying of hockey & football fields
- Construction of a practice wall for volleyball
- Installing synthetic surface on basketball courts
- Employment of Female gym instructor to mentor gym sessions for female comrades
- Propose to construct a Cricket pitch in front of Hall 9
- Introduction of a Students Mentoring Committee, comprising of institute team players to train beginners in various sports Etc.
If elected, Mosiria believes that he can make this happen, he wants to see the University of Nairobi blossom in sports. He wants to see groups of comrades getting together and talking about the things they love with comrades from all walks of life who also love it.
