Word in the high streets of Orange house the head quarter of the largest political party in the banana republic is that the ODM central Management Committee has expressed willingness to rehabilitate the embattled Secretary General Ababu Namwamba.
The absentee SG is also reported to have promised to work his ass off for the party and movement like never before BUT on certain conditions that the committee was reluctant to commit to. A credible source confirms that the meeting ended in A STALEMATE (see body language in the photos)!
Hon Namwamba was put to task over his recent media posturing by his peers and it is said the the Party leader Premier Raila tone was conciliatory
In a presser after the mid-morning meeting Hon Namwamba said the ODM central management committee has laid down a framework for dealing with its “emerging” issues.
The secretary general had suggested talks to resolve ODM’s critical issues in the wake of complaints that his post has been ” very frustrating ” for the past 18 months.
“A framework has been deliberated upon to handle the situations that were raised by members,” the Budalang’i MP said.
He was speaking after a meeting with ODM party leader Raila Odinga and other leaders at Orange House, Nairobi on Wednesday.
Noting that the concerns were not part of the committee’s objectives, Ababu said they will meet again in weeks to deliberate on a way forward.
“When we are ready talk on the issues publicly, we will call a press conference,” he said.
