Why should people expect Raila Odinga to endorse every Tom,Dick and Hurry for the Presidency,especially Dick?
All factors being held Constant,my very well-considered opinion is that Raila Odinga is in the 2017 Presidential race for the long haul.
People must appreciate the fact that over and above assumptions that may be brought into play by extraneous issues,Politics remains purely a game of numbers. Endorsement of any Presidential Candidate therefore,be it by Kenyans themselves or otherwise,is purely a function of value proposition.
My considered opinion and belief is that if any politician or group of politicians think they can hold Raila Odinga at Ransom in respect to the 2017 elections,it is not gonna happen. Get it from me that Raila Odinga has 1001 political options available at his disposal,but NOT a single one of these options entails endorsement of another Presidential Candidate through acts of coercion,or connivance with agents of the State.
Anybody scheming for an endorsement from Raila Odinga in respect to the 2017 Presidential elections is therefore living on borrowed time,and is likely to wait for a long-long= long time;perhaps in vain.
Let all Presidential Candidates seek the Mandate of the Kenyan People.
Watu Wakutane Kwa Debe. And mark you there will be no rigging this time round.
