WHO TOOK SH2 MILLION MEANT FOR IKONGE SCHOOLS? SHADRACK MOSE OR WILLIAM RUTO?
Around April 2019, H. E William Ruto visited Kitutu Masaba constituency, one of his many trips to Gusii region.
Dr. Ruto launched Kemera-Kiendege-Keumbu road, which had actually been factored in during the previous regime of Timothy Bosire.
During that function, Dr. Ruto, who was accompanied by leaders among them area MP Shadrack Mose, also handed over a brand new bus to Ekerubo Sec.
LEADERS LOBBY FOR SH.2 MILLION IKONGE DONATION
But due to Ekerubo’s proximity to Ikonge Pri and Sec. Schools, leaders lobbied for a donation, which Ruto humbly yielded and gave in cash.
Because it was unprecedented, BOM of the two schools was not present and this made the area MP to receive the cash on behalf of the schools.
One of Mose’s guards took the cash and safely kept it at the MP’s vehicle for expected handover.
BUT WHERE IS THE MONEY?
We all concede that Dr. Ruto publicly gave his donation as he has done to various institutions (never mind his source).
Almost one year later, we are treated to shenanigans that Mr. Mose has never surrendered the cash to the schools for intended purpose.
This is despite the fact that the respective institutions have made attempts to reach the MP but their efforts have been fruitless.
Imagine teachers calling, texting and even making frantic physical efforts to get the money!
MP’ HANDLERS THREATENING TEACHERS
Even more worrying, some of the handlers of Mr. Mose, led by Ebitinge, have physically threatened Ikonge Sec principal of a forceful transfer “if he he continues to press on”.
This begs the questions; why are the MPs handlers paranoid of this brewing scandal?
Since the money was given in cash, why hasn’t it been surrendered, over 10 months later?
Was this money real or fake? Why hasn’t the MP spoken about this matter of public interest?
Mh. Mose, we are waiting for answers. The two schools MUST get their donations unconditionally. This should be treated as an urgent matter
