Otuoma team disputes Teso votes
The campaign team of Funyula MP Dr. Paul Otuoma has questioned latest results from some of the polling station from Teso region in today’s ODM nominations.
The team led by Kizito Nyongesa has in particular raised eyebrows with votes from Aturet primary where governor Ojaamong allegedly got 4663 votes against Otuoma who got 8 votes only,
“This is abnormal, how can a small village like Aturet which has a population of less than 1000 people produce over 4000 votes? And you look at the results from across the county, none of the polling stations has produced over two thousand votes.”
“Secondly, Otuoma’s agents were harassed and intimidated and even chased out of the polling centres. Others were even arrested before they were released. In most polling centres in Teso people have voted thrice up to 9pm. We are not accepting the results.”
