Uhuru Silent endorsement of Mike Sonko for Nairobi Governor Sends Hon Denis Waweru to DESPERATION

Uhuru humbles Dennis Waweru by delegating Sonko to Kameme FM event

President Uhuru Kenyatta last Sunday surprised his Mt Kenya staunch followers when he asked Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko to represent him at a Kameme FM event at Kasarani Stadium.

The President who travelled in the same chopper with Sonko from Kitui to Nairobi asked Sonko to be his main man at Kasarani where Kameme FM’s Njogu wa Waweru was celebrating 15 years in broadcast media. That the president sent his message via Sonko and not devolution CS Mwangi Kiunjuri speeks volumes.

The event was also attended by Dagoreti South MP Dennis Waweru, Muranga Governor Mwangi wa Iria, Devolution CS Mwangi Kiunjuri, controversial Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and a dozen of other Central Kenya MPs and MCAs.

Uhuru gave Sonko his donation of Ksh 1 million to hand over to the organisers of the event. At the event Sonko was well received by the jovial crowd largely made of Kameme FM listeners/Kikuyus to the surprise of Hon Waweru who was expecting the crowd he helped to ferry from Dagoreti would heckle Sonko.

Hon Waweru has declared total war against Sonko for the Nairobi Governor’s seat in 2017 and he is desperate to get support of Uhuru before he faces Sonko in the JAP nominations next year.

Watch Sonko being cheered by the Kameme FM listeners who endorsed his quest to be Nairobi governor.
