Fellow Kenyans, you can never hide the truth. Today, 6th April, 2016, at 1.20 PM, Mr. Henry Rotich, CS for National Treasury tweeted saying that he used Ksh120 billion of Eurobond to pay debts left by former president Mwai Kibaki, changing his earlier stand that Ksh196 billion of Eurobond was given to line ministries for infrastructure projects development and Ksh53.4 billion was used to repay the syndicated loan.
See the contradictions? He has realized that there are no projects to show for the stolen money. Pending bills are itemized. Why didn’t CS Rotich tell Kenyans last year that he used Ksh120 billion of Eurobond loan to pay debts? If indeed the Eurobond billions were used to pay debts, it would have been very easy for him to publish such information.
He only mentioned Ksh53.4 billion that he used to retire syndicated Std Chartered commercial bank loan that was used for BVR kits for 2013 elections. The Auditor General has been hot on their heels and there is nowhere to hide now. Time is up!!
