Bomet East MP Hon Benard Bett suffered injuries after members of the public beat him mercilessly for abusing opposition leaders and campaigning for Uhuru. The incident happened in Chemaner ward, Bomet East Constituency. The local youth said the MP is primitive and confused and that he is yet to make his maiden speech in parliament four years later.
