TROUBLE in Mombasa, Nyali Residents Sound ALARM over ODM Chair Hatimy’s Move to SIDELINE Moha Jicho Pevu

NYALI WILL REJECT ODM CHAIR’S POLITICAL COUPE’

Mr Mohammed Hatimy is a man on a mission. A mission impossible, to be precise. It’s as if the party didn’t learn anything from the 2012 Mombasa senatorial nominations, in which, Kajembe and his son, against the wishes of the voters, were handed ODM nomination certificates, only to be humiliated in the General election!

This time, he is trying to torpedo Mohammed Ali’s shot at the Nyali parlimentary seat by ensuring that despite Moha’s strong ground game and retail campaign prowess, doesn’t get a fair shot at the ODM nomination contest. He wants to cut Moha in the knees by handing the certificate to his preferred choice for the seat.

These are some of the political shenanigans that we must put behind us if indeed we are interested in building a more cohesive force in readiness for the main contest against Jubilee. Mr Hatimy’s efforts are neither congruent to the ideals of ODM nor what the party needs at this defining moment.

He wants to replicate the same tactics that got him fired from KFF in ODM! The PARTY must not allow him and certainly the people of Mombasa will not entertain merchants of political chicanery masquerading as objective arbiters of party affairs.

And to those political ambulance chasers waiting to get free and easy rides to parliament, I have news for you: just take a look at ‘Senator’ Kajembe and his son! Get a life, and if you call yourself a politician, why don’t you go out there and do what a leader like Moha does? Better yet, show us your body of work. Moha’s record speaks for itself.

Instead of calling secret meetings to strategize on how to shortchange Moha, why don’t you spend time laying out the party’s agenda and gameplan for taking the fight to the corrupt Jubilee regime?

The people of Nyali know Moha, they believe in him, they know that he understands their plight because he is a man of the people who does not need preferential treatment to get recognized. He is part of them and they are part of him. Who is Hatimy fighting for?
